Culturally responsive trauma therapist offering bilingual sessions

Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

I am Daisy, a bilingual licensed clinical social worker, wife, dog mom, and lover of the outdoors. I believe therapy should be a safe and welcoming space where you feel truly heard, validated, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally humble.

At Santana Therapeutic Connections, I bring curiosity, compassion, and a steady presence to every session. My passion is helping adults work through anxiety, process trauma, and navigate life transitions. Many clients come to me feeling overwhelmed in ways that affect both their mind and body, including stress, perfectionism, or difficulty slowing their thoughts. Others are adjusting to changes that feel both exciting and difficult. Even positive change can stir up old patterns, uncertainty, and emotions that deserve space and care.

My professional background includes child welfare, medical social work, outpatient care, and higher education. These experiences allow me to approach therapy with flexibility and depth, tailoring each session to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness based approaches. I take a person centered, strengths based approach that honors your expertise while exploring patterns and expanding coping strategies.

As a first generation Mexican American therapist, I understand how cultural expectations, identity, and family roles shape our experiences. I support clients working through trauma, cultural stressors, and the pressure to hold everything together. Therapy with me is a place where you do not have to be the strong one or the one who has it all figured out. You can show up exactly as you are.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for support, you do not have to go through it alone. Therapy can be a space to sort things out, feel supported, and begin making sense of what is next. I am here to walk alongside you with compassion and care.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking, spending time with my family and my dog, game nights, and being near the water. These moments help me stay grounded and bring a sense of balance to my work.
